Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the 1605 Digital website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Services
1605 Digital provides web development, software development, and related consulting services. Specific terms for individual projects will be outlined in separate agreements or statements of work.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, upon full payment, clients receive full ownership of the custom code and designs created specifically for their project. 1605 Digital retains the right to use generic, reusable components and to showcase work in portfolio materials.
Payment Terms
Payment terms are specified in individual project agreements. Standard terms include:
- 50% deposit required to begin work
- Remaining balance due upon project completion
- Monthly retainers billed at the start of each month
Project Changes
Changes to project scope may affect timeline and cost. Significant changes will be documented in a change order and require mutual agreement before implementation.
Limitation of Liability
1605 Digital's liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information shared during the course of the engagement.
Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. Client is responsible for payment of work completed up to the termination date.
